All about Virtual Tour Transitions

Virtual Tour Transitions

Creating a virtual tour is easy if you use a software like My360. It comes with many great options including a live video chat, floorplans, popups and  Virtual Tour Transitions.

A transition is the movement that the player makes between each scene in your virtual tour. The transition happens when someone clicks on a hotspot inside the virtual tour to move to the next scene.

It can be a slow merge, a fast blend, a zoom combined with a blend. The options are endless!

Which one you choose is entirely up to you of course, it depends on the property or landscape you are showing off in your virtual tour. It also depends on your visitor, are they likely to be impatient people? Then a quick zoom is probably best. Do they really need to be immersed in the virtual tour? Then the Slow Zoom Blend will be perfect.

Each user will have their personal favorite.

(Spoiler alert: We like the Slow Zoom Blend the best!)

In the video below you can see what each transition looks like and how you can set your own custom transitions between scenes:

The above video shows how to change / set the transition for just 1 single tour. But you can also set your transitions as standard in your default settings for all your tours here:

Virtual Tour Transitions

You can find this under: config & settings > vts.

This will set the standard virtual tour transitions for all your virtual tours. So you don’t have to click on “overwrite defaults” in your virtual tour anymore (unless you want to change it for that one tour of course!)

As said, we love the Slow Zoom Blend (slow is the way to go!) but which transition did you like the best, and why? Let us know in the comments.
